Romsey-based Waste Management Company, Ace Liftaway recently increased its fleet of waste
vehicles with a re-manufactured vehicle from Refuse Vehicle Solutions ltd (RVS). The vehicle, a
26 tonne RCV, is the company's largest to date and will pave the way for further expansion.
In a perfect example of how RVS works in harmony with each customer's individual
requirements Ace provided a brand new DAF chassis to which RVS then fitted a re-
manufactured phoenix 2 body and re-manufactured Beta 2 Trade bin lift.
Philip Liddell, Managing Director, Ace Liftaway said: "RVS came recommended and I can
understand why. The vehicle is immaculate and the service has been superb. I wouldn’t
hesitate to go back again when we need another vehicle."
Ace Liftaway has experienced continual growth since being established over 25 years
ago with one mini truck and 8 mini skips. The company now has over 1500 skips on hire
throughout South Hampshire and recycles and processes around 90% of all materials at its
own waste recycling facility. Last year proved to be the company's best year yet and this year
looks set to beat that record.
Philip Liddell added: "We look after our customers and we look after our staff. We invest in
training and maintaining a high level of customer service."
A leading provider of both quality used and re-manufactured refuse vehicles, RVS specialises
in revitalising second hand dust-carts, stripping them down and replacing or repairing worn
and defective parts, to provide high quality 'as-new' vehicles that cost a fraction of the
expense of a new vehicle. The company also offers a host of additional services including
vehicle financing, low-loader delivery and an extensive spare parts service specialising in
second-hand and reconditioned components.
